Humanity stands at a precipice. For 23 years since the shadow of 9/11 fell across the globe, we’ve been trapped in a relentless cycle—a "Curse of Endless War" that has spiraled into political dysfunction, a staggering $37 trillion U.S. debt, and a Global Income Inequality Crisis that leaves billions behind while a few soar ever higher.

The world feels heavy, fractured, and on the brink of something even darker, with the specter of nuclear conflict looming. In times like these, it’s easy to lose hope, to let the inertia of despair carry us forward. But I believe there’s a light waiting to break through—a light we can harness to change the course of our shared story. And to find it, I’m turning to an unlikely source: the Boston Red Sox.

Why the Red Sox, and why now? Because their story is more than a sports saga—it’s a beacon of what’s possible when we dare to break a curse, when we unite as a team, and when we fight darkness with light. 

Twenty-one years ago, in the heat of a 2004 brawl, Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek smashed his mitt into the face of the Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez, a moment that sparked the end of an 86-year drought known as the "Curse of the Bambino." That act of defiance set the stage for a miracle: the Red Sox’s improbable 2004 World Series victory, followed by three more championships in the years since.

They didn’t just win games—they rewrote destiny, healed a city, and showed the world what happens when the "little guys" stand together against the odds.

Today, I see the Red Sox’s journey as a metaphor for our own. We, too, are caught in a curse—one of endless division, war, and inequality that threatens to unravel the very fabric of humanity. But just as the Red Sox found a way to break through, so can we. Their story teaches us that some prizes can’t be given—they must be taken.

It took grit, unity, and a refusal to accept defeat for the Red Sox to topple the "Evil Empire" of the Yankees, not only by matching their spending but by fighting with light: through community programs like the Jimmy Fund, through leadership that lifted every player, and through a fanbase that believed in something bigger. 

In the same way, we can rally the world to end the Global Income Inequality Crisis—not by surrendering to despair, but by harnessing the dark energy of these 23 years and transforming it into a force for good.

On my X page I’ve shared a 388-tweet "product"—a massive strategic plan to do just that: to save the American Dream, to lead all of humanity through this post-9/11 darkness, and to create a more equal, beautiful world.

The Red Sox Metaphor is the heart of this vision, a call to action for sports lovers and dreamers alike. It reminds us that even the longest curses can be broken, that destiny can bend toward justice, and that the power of unity can turn underdogs into champions. In 2013, the Red Sox helped Boston heal after the Marathon bombing; in 2018, they showed the world what teamwork and redemption look like. 

Now, in 2025, their story can inspire us to heal the world.

This is our moment to fight with light, to believe in the "magic story" of humanity’s rise. Because if the Red Sox could overcome 86 years of heartbreak, then we, too, can overcome 23 years of darkness.

On Patriots Day... also known as Marathon Monday, dreams were very much coming true. 

Money was being raised for charity, African athletic dominance was on display for the whole world to see. And for thousands upon thousands... months and sometimes years of very hard work had a 'finish line' that was finally in sight.

'The Secret' behind making any American Dream come true is the willingness to pay the price for the dream... in 'Blood, Sweat and Tears'. On Marathon Monday 2013, that 'secret' was being shared with the world... until EVERYTHING came to a bloody stop.

For a time, the two brothers who brought so many dreams to a horrific end with their dream of glorious jihad... well, they pursued dreams in America too. 

But All American Dreams have periods of doubt and disbelief... and that's when The Disease of Muslim Extremism shredded their hopes and dreams.

The Radicals always insist that it isn't the fact that the would-be terrorists' wisdom and beliefs 'don't measure up' in this modern world... but that it is Our World that is corrupt, dirty and unclean. In their twisted view of things, in order to prove fidelity to God, you must be willing to purge the world of infidels... and that's where the murder of innocents comes in.

By the time the bombs went off... 'the elite runners' had already crossed the finish line and were well out of harm's way and that's when the horrific symbolic irony became crystal clear:

The type of character that it takes for an 'average' runner to complete a marathon... IS THE EXACT SAME CHARACTER that it takes for any 'average' person to achieve their American Dream.

It's the type of Character these two murderous thugs stopped developing when they allowed The Disease of Muslim Extremism to take control of their souls.

The reason Muslim Extremism is so seductive is because the unholy narrative of the terrorist 'Puppet Masters' has would-be terrorists believing that the 'Blood, Sweat and Tears'... should be that of anyone but--- THE PUPPET MASTER in charge.

And by buying that line, even though they thought they were serving God... these two brothers 'Made a Deal with The Devil'.

If you have never felt the sting of humiliation, then you probably don't yet fully understand just how seductive The Islamic version of 'The Blame Game' can be... and why it's so necessary today for All of US to finally join together and once and for all, take control of the narrative and make this fight... a fight over Dreams.

The Patriots won just about every game because they had a tough smart Head Coach and because…

Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round and for a while he led with The Underdog Spirit and a huge ‘chip on his shoulder’.

They won just about every game because Brady’s teammates knew… if Tom Brady could play in The NFL much, much, much better than anyone expected him to play, by outworking and outthinking everyone… 

so could they.

Bill Belichick had a plan and Tom Brady led by example and together they brought out the best in everyone.

Unfortunately, now...

 THE PATRIOTS SUCK!

The Patriots suck because Bill Belichick let his Authoritarian instincts get the best of him.

He wanted everyone to know The Patriots were HIS team and that he was the one in control.

So, he hired his sons to be ‘his eyes and ears’ and chased Tom Brady away.

The Patriot Way... is dead in Foxboro and when Bill Belichick became a ‘loser’ he got himself fired. 

NOW… The Patriots are…

But so are The People who control The Democratic Party.

It's True. 21 years ago, Jason Veritek smashed A-Rod in the face... AND... since then The Boston Red Sox have won 4 World Series Titles.

He was just too good not to get that simple play right in The 1986 World Series. Forget about 'Curse of The Bambino'... Red Sox Destiny got in Bill Buckner's way, the night the ball rolled slowly by first base.

YES. It's true. Sometimes DESTINY gets in the way and when it does, strange things happen. 86 years and down 3 games to none to The New York Yankees and 'signs' started popping up everywhere saying... BELIEVE... and we did. 

And we were right to believe in... The 2004 Boston Red Sox.

And in 2013? Who can forget about that team's miracle season and all the lessons we learned about the importance of teamwork?

Well, I guess most people did.

So, DESTINY stepped in again to teach US a lesson... with the 2014 and 2015 teams. I know, I know, I know... what does God care about who wins a baseball game... is what some people say.

And to these people I say...

What's The Purpose for any of the games that we play?

In 2004 a curse needed to be broken and in 2013 a city needed to heal. In each of those winning teams was a PURPOSE to play for.

But, in 2014 Inspired play was hard to find. EXCEPT in the play of Brock Holt.

All season long I was looking for 'signs' and a storyline that could give reason to hope and all I could find was Brock Holt... chipping in wherever he could and wherever THE TEAM needed him. A good story to be sure... but NOT a big enough storyline to make the 2014 team worth watching.

UNTIL Shane Victorino came back to the team.

Out for most of the season... HE... came back from injury ready to play hard and win and ready to sacrifice his aging body for the good of The Team... 

AND... then out of the blue... new 'signs' appeared in the most unlikely places---

the Market Basket supermarket parking lots.

As fate would have it, thousands of 'little guys'... hard working people, were making it Crystal Clear that they were finally ready to play too.

AND now at long last, WE have Our Storyline.

WIN OR LOSE this metaphor is just one tiny sliver of the epic tale of...

& 'The Rise of The Little Guy'...

You might wonder for what purpose did destiny shine its bright light on The 2018 World Champion Boston Red Sox?

Well, on this very special team it's impossible to miss the story of the critically important ROLE 'the little guys' on the team played when THE TEAM needed their contributions most... 

in the most important playoff games.

And it's impossible to miss THE STORY OF INDIVIDUAL REDEMPTION AND PERSISTENCE that played out ALL season long. And it's impossible to miss THE POWER OF TEAM UNITY and the power of great coaching and leadership from THE PLAYERS and the team's first Latino coach... who worked hard every day to make sure they did all they could do... to help ensure that ALL players on the team reached their potential.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY... 

it's impossible to miss the fact that The Boston Red Sox found a way to OUT SPEND and PLAY their archrival The New York Yankees. A team that truly DOMINATED them for decades.

How did they finally do it? They finally stopped complaining about how much money The Yankees spent on their team and found a way to compete with The Yankees by squeezing every nickel and dime that they could out of ancient Fenway Park. 

And by becoming PRICELESS corporate citizens with their golden support of The Jimmy Fund and Homebase programs for Veterans and countless other community programs, creating a rabid fan base willing to spend almost anything to see THEIR team play and win.

THE BOSTON RED SOX were champions again in 2018 because... 

THE ENTIRE RED SOX ORGANIZATION...

chose to fight 'The Evil Empire'... 

WITH LIGHT! 

And that's why the 'magic' story of The Boston Red Sox is worth sharing today.
