The Diagnosis:
For twenty-five years, the United States has been trapped in an Endless war. It began with boots on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan. As those conflicts wound down, the Drone Wars took center stage.
We called that era The War on Terror.
Over time, that fighting spirit spilled beyond the battlefield and infected our politics. We drew new battle lines… Left versus Right. We normalized targeted assassinations. We stayed locked in proxy fights in Ukraine and the Middle East. And the cycle continued.
This Endless War has drained American blood and treasure, exploded our national debt, assaulted our national spirit, and spread violence, division, distrust and darkness across the globe.
Military power has its limits. There are more terrorists today than on 9/11. Authoritarian regimes persist. Global income inequality has worsened. And the proliferation of nuclear, drone, AI-guided weapons systems and bioweapons has made continued reliance on war as a 'solution' to anything an unacceptable existential risk.
America is no longer functioning as a healthy democracy.
It's time to end all the wars.

The Regeneration: The Manhattan Project for Good

The original Manhattan Project was a MASSIVE mobilization of America’s best minds and resources. It was a big deal. It was a huge success.

I’m not saying Americans don’t work hard or accomplish big things. Because we do. And lots of Americans make insane amounts of money.

THE POWER OF LIGHT
In May/June 2024 I drove from Massachusetts to Syracuse N.Y. and then down through rural Pennsylvania into Virginia and eventually into the mountains of North Carolina looking for a new place to live.
I spent weeks in small town America.
I wasn’t studying ‘swing voters’…
I was looking for new friends and neighbors.
And I saw things that quite frankly scared the Hell out of me.
Since 9.11… instead of understanding that with our incredible new technology… Modernity Emerged... America’s civilian political leadership just made more and more war and trauma and more and more Darkness.
Our leaders never prepared US for this difficult transition into modern life. What OUR politicians did was divide US with one ‘wedge issue’ after another.
Americans everywhere were not and still are not prepared for how expensive Modernity really is. I’m not talking ‘Inflation’ expensive. What I’m talking about is how expensive it is to survive in Modernity let alone thrive.
What scared the Hell out of me?
Everywhere I look on this Odyssey of mine, one way or another I see people being destroyed by… The DARK.
All races. All income levels. In the country, suburbs and cities in America people are being destroyed by The DARK. As The Dark manifests and spreads through modern technology.
TRUE. The well-off had little financial difficulty making the financial transition into Modernity. But The Dark spared no one with The Rise of Darkness, Division, Hate & War…
And The Opioid Crisis…
And The Mass Shootings Crisis...
And All The Trauma.
And we all see it and still, today all we do now is fight and call each other Evil.
